NJMOM is a dynamic lifestyle brand that serves New Jersey’s vibrant community of moms, offering valuable insights, resources, and support. Each year, they host a Baby Expo, a premier event where new and experienced moms come together to meet vendors, try the latest baby gear, and gain insight into products that could make their parenting journey easier. In light of the closing of Babies "R" Us, there has been a noticeable gap for moms looking to test, touch, and experience new baby products in person. This has made the Baby Expo a vital event for moms and vendors alike, providing an experience they can’t find elsewhere.
NJMOM approached us with the goal of creating a video that would not only capture the essence of the Baby Expo but also serve as a tool to onboard new vendors. They wanted to show potential vendors the value of participating in the event, demonstrating the experience and connection they could build with attendees through an engaging and informative video.

Challenge
One of the biggest challenges for NJMOM was addressing the gap left by Babies "R" Us closing its doors. Moms no longer had a place to test, touch, and interact with the latest baby gear before making purchases. The Baby Expo was crucial in filling that void, but NJMOM wanted to capture the essence of the event and the unique experience for vendors and attendees alike. The challenge was creating a video that would resonate with vendors who were unfamiliar with the event while also showcasing the hands-on experience that would appeal to new moms.
Outcome
The final video successfully showcased the NJMOM Baby Expo as a one-of-a-kind experience for both attendees and vendors. It emphasized the hands-on, interactive nature of the event, illustrating the real connections made between moms and brands. The video now serves as a powerful tool for onboarding new vendors, providing them with a clear understanding of the event’s value and the kind of exposure they can expect by participating.

THE GOAL
While driving growth in attendance wasn’t the primary focus, NJMOM wanted to showcase the Baby Expo experience to attract new vendors to the event. They needed a video that would highlight the vibrant atmosphere of the expo, the engagement between moms and vendors, and the hands-on product experience that vendors could offer at the show. The goal was to give potential vendors a glimpse of the event’s value, making them feel confident in joining as a part of NJMOM’s growing community.

We approached the project by focusing on the interactive nature of the Baby Expo. The video was designed to highlight the real-time experience that vendors offer—showing moms trying out baby gear, engaging with vendors, and discovering new products that make parenting easier. We captured moments of genuine interaction between vendors and attendees, focusing on the personal connections being made.
The footage also highlighted the variety of products and services available at the event, from baby essentials to innovative gear. By showcasing these moments in an engaging, dynamic way, we demonstrated the value of the expo not just for attendees, but for vendors looking to engage with a highly targeted audience.
Through carefully crafted interviews, event footage, and vendor highlights, we produced a video that gave potential vendors an authentic look at what they could expect if they joined the expo. The video was designed to be not only informative but also emotionally engaging, showing how the event helps moms and vendors build lasting relationships.
THE Results
